Volunteer Management Program

 

This is a program that links prospective volunteers to volunteer positions within not for profit organisations located in the Hastings Area.

Our key functions are to:

Recruit, interview and refer volunteers. Develop and deliver training packages specific to volunteers and volunteer organisations.

Link prospective volunteers with not-for-profit community organisations.

Promote benefits of volunteering. Community development and education.
Coordinate Corporate volunteer opportunities between Corporate organisations, Volunteer Organisations & volunteers.

We refer volunteers for the following types of positions.

Emergency Services Caring for the aged
Carpentry, building, maintenance, handyman

Conservation, land-care & gardening

Driving Fund Raising
Information provider - talks & guiding Meal preparation
Office work - clerical, reception, computer One on one caring
Radio work - community radio School help - reading, library assistant
Serving in Op-Shop Social fun - performing arts, entertaining
Two way radio work Work with animals
Work with people with disabilities
