TAX HELP SERVICE

Tax Help is a free service available to low income earners & pensioners providing assistance to complete their yearly tax return. Qualified volunteers trained by the Australian Taxation Office are available from mid July to the end of October.

Tax time is the time most of us dread. But it doesn’t need to be that way if you utilise the FREE Tax Help service at the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre Info Shop.

Make an appointment and let us help you complete your tax return and answer any questions you may have. Our qualified Tax Help volunteers will happily assist to make this year’s “Tax Time” a breeze.

BECOME A TAX HELP VOLUNTEER

You can become a Tax Help Volunteer.

No previous experience is necessary. You do not need a           background in accountancy however some pervious                  bookeeping experience would be an advantage.

Your info will be passed onto the ATO and you will then receive further information.

Training for new volunteers and also returning volunteers is held every year around May
