Free Family Fun Day - Friday 7th October 2011 - 10.30 - 1.30pm at the Neighbourhood Centre. FREE fun for the whole family - Jumping Castle, Balloon Sculptures, Face Painting, Hair Colouring, Children's Show & activities, lots lots more.....Everyone Welcome. What a great day we had - beautiful weather, lovely people, lots of fun....can't wait till next year to see what is in store.

Local community groups meet bi-monthly to share information & ideas, network, learn what other services are doing in the area, funding opportunities, new services and more....

Support Group for Parents of Children with Challenging Behaviour (PCChAB) -This support group invites all parents and carers of children with abusive behaviours to come along and join this group. Groups are held every month from 10.30 - 12.30 at Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre. The aim of this group is information sharing, networking, resources and guest speakers. We will continue to gain knowledge and understanding of services already available, and work towards the prospect of inceasing these services. Morning tea is provided. Introduction to Volunteering - information on volunteering, rights and responsiblities, types of organisations, Occupational Health and Safety, how you can meet your Centrelink obligations. Sessions are held regularly at Port Macquarie and Wauchope.
