The Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre in conjunction with PM Lions Club, Landcare and other volunteer organisations is again holding a Volunteer Expo to celebrate National Volunteer Week (NVW).
The Expo provides an opportunity to speak directly with a variety of organisations in an informal, no obligation environment. The key to successful volunteering is to find an organisatin that best suits your talents, with numerous organisatins under one roof ready to answer all your questions, a local Volunteer Expo is the perfect introductory forum.
If you are a not for profit community group - this opportunity, no matter whether you are a small or large organisation, is a chance to showcase your volunteer opportunities to a wider group of people. Educating them about your organisation, it's work and what you can offer a potential volunteer, all in a relaxed and informal environment.
