CONGRATULATIONS to the organising commitee of The Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre, Wauchope Neighbourhood Centre, Port Macquarie Lions Club and Landcare for a very successful 2010 Volunteer Expo.
Over 400 people attended the Expo on the day, and over 45 Hastings volunteer organisations gathered together to participate in the Expo and celebrate National Volunteer Week (NVW).
The Expo provided an opportunity to speak directly with a variety of organisations in an informal, no obligation environment. With numerous organisations under one roof ready to answer all your questions. A local Volunteer Expo is the perfect introductory forum for volunteering.

In conjunction with the Volunteer Expo, The Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centre held a Photography Competition with the theme of "Volunteers In Action".
We received 44 outstanding entries.
