The Port Macquarie Neighbourhood Centres role is to provide a variety of
community services that assist families, adolescents and older people to
achieve their own well-being and enhance the quality of life of
disadvantaged groups in the community.

The Neighbourhood Centre offers
free services, information, advice and referral on a wide range of
topics. We also have a large array of brochures and booklets & you
can pick up your free copy of the Community Services Directory.
Our helpful staff and volunteers are only too happy to assist with any
enquiry you may have.

Neighbourhood Centre Services
| Hastings Valley Toy & Leisure Library Hires quality toys ranging from
50c to $2.50 per fortnight to the Hastings community. Cheaper than buying
new toys, great for Grandparents and birthday parties or just variety at

Traffic Offenders Program Drink driving and traffic education program
that aims to re-educate and increase participants understanding of their responsibility to

| OOSH (Out of School Hours and Vacation Care) Situated at 8 Boronia
Street. Provides before & after school care & vacation care for 5 to 12 year

Volunteer
Management Program - Links
prospective volunteers to voluntary positions within local not-for-profit organisations.
Provides free training for volunteers and volunteer coordinators.

Legal Advice
Provides a free 20 minute consultation
with local solicitors, offering advice and guidance on any legal matter.

Hastings Macleay Housing
Support Service - Free service available to anyone experiencing
homelessness or at risk of becoming homeless. Assistance and advice with
housing options. Appointments made at the Port Macquarie Neighbourhood

Tax Help Provides a free 40 minute
consultation mid July to end of October with trained taxation volunteers who are able to assist with
the completion of your tax return and/or answer many of those taxation
